All Hallows Dawn at DEVCON EXE Sci-fi Convention

It was the dawn of All Hallows Eve when Captain Eva Industrious and Dr Patricia Rockmettler McCauley landed at Exeter Station, boarded a cab and arrived at destination DEVCON EXE, at Exeter University.  The crew of the Death Star had joined forces with Luke's side to make our landing a safe and hospitable one.
The Daleks were less welcoming! EXTERMINATE!! EXTERMINATE!!  But they were outnumbered with Sophie Aldred there signing autographs!
Steve Of S.J.M Dark Arts https://www.facebook.com/Sjm-dark-arts-1444744279103954/?fref=ts was busy with his comic style art commissions.
A few of The Industrious Imaginarium Steampunk and Victorian Gothic hats were available at the event.  This lovely talented manga artist bought one complete with goggles and was happy to sport it for the rest of the day.  I couldn't resist buying a print of one of her Avatar paintings.  She is a regular at these events.
It was great to meet some familiar faces from DEVCON Plymouth.

As usual we were amazed at the talented artists and crafts people at the event.  Amazing work at such reasonable prices.  The atmosphere is always so friendly and the cosplayers fantastic!  It was a flying visit this time  (adjusts goggles) but we will be sure to return again next year and probably with a stall.  For details of future events you can find DEVCON EXE And DEVCON Pymouth on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1601426283412967/

Welcome To The Wonderful Adventures Of Countess Eva Industrious In Imaginarium

Welcome to my new journal recording my adventures in the wondrous Imaginarium.

I am an artist, costume designer, creator, sculptor, milliner and will turn my hand and imagination to most creative endeavours. I like to recycle and upcycle as well as creating things from scratch, and most of my designs are truly unique as they develop from a concept in my mind.  I love to dress up, and although I am mostly inspired by Steampunk and Diesel Punk I also love cosplay, fantasy and period costumes.  I have attended quite a few interesting events in Cornwall and Devon over the past year and I thought it was about time I shared those experiences, so I have begun a blog and we shall see how it unfolds.  I hope you enjoy it!
I will be adding new posts on a regular basis but for now I'll leave you with an image of myself dressed in my latest Diesel Punk Pilot Costume worn this weekend at Devcon Exe Comic and Sci-fi Convention in Exeter this weekend.
